Spinach dumplings

Ingredients (6 dumplings)

250 g - 300 g dumpling bread

300 g frozen spinach, drained

2 eggs

250 ml milk

1 onion

1 clove of garlic

1 tbsp flour

1 teaspoon salt

2 pinches of pepper

1 tbsp rapeseed oil

Sauce:

200 g butter

2 tbsp parmesan

preparation

Put the dumpling bread in a large bowl.

Dice the onions and finely press the garlic.

Fry in a pan with oil until translucent.

Add the spinach and bring to the boil.

Add milk and simmer for 2 minutes over medium heat.

Fold in eggs, flour, salt and pepper and stir well.

Put everything in the bowl with the dumpling bread and let cool down a little.

Mix well and form dumplings.

Let the dumplings stand for 20 minutes in a saucepan with slightly simmering salted water.

Slowly heat the butter in a saucepan.

When the butter is runny add the parmesan.

Put the dumplings on a plate and serve with the sauce poured over them.
